Saving Babies

Dr. Khorshid Mohammad is a Staff Neonatologist at Alberta Health Services (Calgary Zone), a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine, and a Neonatology site and NICU Neuro-critical care Lead for the Alberta Children’s Hospital. He has a particular interest in innovative technologies for healthcare education and quality improvement such as through his involvement with the Neonatal Neuro-Critical Care (NNCC) Program in Calgary.

FUEL is working with Dr. Mohammad to develop a novel tool for training nurses and frontline providers to more relaibly identify the signs and symptoms of asphyxia (oxygen deprivation) after birth.
